COOP GARNERS FOUR AWARDS, TWO CITATIONS
ILECO 1 has again been recognized by the National Electrification Administration (NEA) as one of the best electric cooperatives in the country. This was done during the NEA-ECs Convention and Recognition held at the Legenda Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport in Pampanga last April 25-27, 2007.
The following were the awards bestowed upon our electric cooperative: Emmanuel N. Pelaez Award for the Best EC of the Year; Best in Collection Performance Award and Award for ECs with Sustained Financial Performance for the year 2006. The two citations are Special Recognition for ECs with Most Number of PDA Graduates and Special Citation for ECs Attaining 100% Barangay Energization for the year 2006. General Manager Wilfred L. Billena was given the Pedro G. Dumol Award for Best General Manager of the Year.
This could not have been made possible had it not been for the efforts of the officers and employees of the Coop as well as the cooperation of the member-consumers in the entire area coverage.

SOCOTECO VISITS ILECO 1
Several SOCOTECO II employees visited the Coop last May 3, 2007. They were welcomed with songs followed by an open forum wherein they asked questions regarding the Coop its operation. The open forum was emceed by GM Billena himself. They also visited the different departments and sections fielding questions regarding policies and practices. |
